East West University Workshop: DOT BD Solutions and EWUCoPC Unlock the Global Odoo ERP Career Boom
On December 8, 2025, DOT BD Solutions Limited, the Official Odoo Gold Partner in Bangladesh, successfully collaborated with the East West University Computer Programming Club (EWUCoPC) to host a comprehensive workshop: "ERP + ODOO: Unlock Global Career Opportunities."
Held in Room 126 and open to students from all departments, this 90-minute session was designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and the surging demand for practical Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) skills in the global job market.
The Career Opportunity 90% of Students Are Missing
The workshop began by highlighting an astonishing market reality: while fields like AI see roughly 80% growth, the demand for core ERP skills has surged by 550%. Despite this massive growth, an alarming 60-70% of ERP positions remain unfilled globally due to a talent shortage.
MD Rajibul Islam, CEO of DOT BD Solutions Limited and an Odoo Certified Trainer, led the theory session, emphasizing why Odoo—the fastest-growing ERP platform worldwide—is the smart choice for career development:
Low Barrier to Entry: Odoo uses Python, making it quicker to learn (2-3 months) compared to legacy ERP systems like SAP (12-24 months).
High Local Demand: Bangladesh has seen 81,488 Odoo installations in just 12 months, driving massive local demand for certified professionals.

The second half of the workshop, led by Rafiur Rahman Rafit, Technical & Functional Odoo Consultant at DBSL, featured a captivating live demonstration.
Attendees watched as a professional website and e-commerce store were built in just 15-20 minutes using Odoo’s drag-and-drop website builder, proving that high-level digital transformation skills require NO coding. This practical session was a highlight, showing students from both technical and non-technical backgrounds how they can leverage Odoo's FREE modules to create powerful business tools.
The workshop concluded with a competitive Quiz Competition, where 10 students won course discount prizes valued up to ৳2,000 each on the Odoo University Course.
